Mark Wadsworth
@wadsy_runs_ridesMy favourite sport is a combination of running and cycling. I love variety, adventures, and meeting different people while staying fit. I encourage everyone to get out the door and have some fun! My goal is to inspire as many people as possible.
I’m grateful for my coach, who helped me realise my limits and what goals I can reach. My most significant fitness achievement was training for my first marathon in 2020 and completing my first ultra-marathon four weeks later.
I am someone who prefers to train toward a goal. This year, I aimed to participate in the Peaks Challenge Falls Creek, which unfortunately got cancelled. So why not do another marathon? Considering my local running club is sending about 90 people to the Gold Coast Marathon, why not?
My biggest supporters are My wife and two young daughters. They allow me to chase my goals and do what I love. My fitness journey will inspire them to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

Paige Barnett
@irunformiles98I ran track all through high school, that’s definitely where my love of running started.
Took a short break after graduating and three years ago I started training for more road races. Including some 10k’s and a half marathon. Ran my first marathon December of 22’ and qualified for Boston this past April.
My dream is to run the Boston marathon and a few other of the majors.
I love challenging myself to do hard things and running is something I’m very passionate about.
I also am working towards becoming a run coach and would love to work with other people and help others love the sport as much as I do. -
Harry Crokam
@harrycrokamHello, my name is Harry, I’m 19 years old and I’m a tennis player.
I have grown up playing tennis competitively starting with local fixtures and playing local junior tournaments which then turned into playing in higher level junior age tournaments across Australia. Throughout my junior years, I was also able to represent the Sunshine Coast in individual and team events competing against other regions in the state. Over the past 3 years, I have been playing in open-age money tournaments gaining experience in match play, and trying to improve my Universal Tennis Rating which is used to qualify for higher-level tournaments. After graduating high school in 2022 I decided that playing college tennis in America was the best option for me to develop my potential as a player. Over the next 4 years, I will be playing tennis full time traveling with the college team, and playing high-level tennis in the NCAA league. My goal over this period is to work hard and take the next step in my tennis journey to see what level I can reach and hopefully attain a world ranking.
